Jim Elliott is the project leader on consulting projects. He negotiates agreements, manages the workflow, and shapes strategies. Before founding the James G. Elliott Co., Inc. in 1984, Jim Elliott held numerous executive positions, including Director of Field Services at CBS Magazines and Western Advertising Manager for Road & Track Magazine. He served as the president of the Magazine Representatives Association of Southern California and as a board member of Association Media & Publishing (AM&P), which bestowed upon him the First Annual Mitch Mohanna Lifetime Achievement Award, awarded for outstanding service to AM&P and for accomplishments spanning a career in association publishing.
Mr. Elliott has served on several for-profit and nonprofit boards and committees and as Charter Advisory Board Member of the Magazine Innovation Center at The University of Mississippi’s Meek School of Journalism and New Media. He currently serves on the CEO Council of the SIIA’s AM&P Network. He has contributed to publications such as The Media Leader and Signature, and speaks at industry events such as the SIIA Business Information Media Summit and international events like the 2023 Indian Magazine Congress (New Delhi) and the FIPP World Congress (Lisbon). His consulting and business turnaround expertise were highlighted in a recent Forbes.com article. A graduate of Occidental College, Mr. Elliott resides in the Los Angeles area. He is a member of the Chicago Club and the Del Rey Yacht Club.

r.elliott@adsandideas.com Ryan Elliott runs the day-to-day activities of the Elliott Co. He advises on and approves all business goals, operations, and expenses. He guides and approves organizational structure/staffing as well as helping to drive new business with his father. He contributes to and reviews all consulting projects.
Mr. Elliott started his career in advertising at Saatchi & Saatchi as an account executive in the automotive space. After he completed his MBA, he was recruited into the finance industry and spent the next few years managing risk for a large bank based out of LA and SF. He then used his interpersonal skills along with his finance background and transitioned into consulting, working for KPMG and Ernst & Young (EY). During his service between the two firms, he traveled around the country selling large projects to corporate clients and co-managed the financial services practice for EY on the West Coast.
Mr. Elliott’s experience includes selling professional services to corporations, managing consulting teams and complicated initiatives, helping executives interpret and navigate complicated rules and regulatory frameworks, assessing financial/non-financial risk, what-if modeling and analysis, financial planning and analysis, valuation, and M&A.

Craig Miller is responsible for execution of consulting assignments through Ads&IDEAS® and communications for the James G. Elliott Co., Inc.. During his 26-year tenure with the Elliott Co., he has been responsible for advertising sales assignments across a wide range of categories, sales and training for Kantar’s Simmons Market Research Bureau and SRDS, and execution of numerous consulting projects. Previously, he ran sales offices for Forbes, Inc. Magazine, and Investor’s Business Daily.

j.perry@adsandideas.com Jessica Perry brings decades of experience as an innovator and growth leader in the online publishing and information industry. In senior commercial and operations positions at Dow Jones & Company, Conde Nast, Yahoo!, Atlantic Media and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), she forged digital transformation, instilled new practices and built new lines of business. As Chief Marketing Officer at SaaS hiring technology firm Modern Hire, Jess assembled a modern demand-generation engine.
In her role as Contributor, Jess supports Ads&IDEAS clients on business and revenue strategy, digital best practices, content strategies and planning, innovative partnerships, customer experience, data analysis and branding.
Jess has served as a director for trade associations, including the American Marketing Association and Software and Information Industry Association, and is on the executive committee of the leadership professional development and networking group, Executive Forum.

Power and subsequently as President of Borapp Consulting, Inc. serving the automotive, energy/utilities, telecommunications, financial and other service industries.
Oren was awarded a U.S. patent for co-developing an innovative online marketing sales tool and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He completed his MBA Marshall School of Business, from the University of Southern California.
